I've created a file for personal use Colour Grading Tray that you can print at home. When colour grading Diamonds and Gemstones, you need to have the right light and background to be able to see the actual colour. Your environment must have as little influence as possible on the colour-grading process.
 
 
 
 
 
I recommend printing this document on WHITE non-glossy A4 card paper with Best Quality in printer settings
 
 
 
The most widely available and accepted lighting for colour-grading diamonds and gemstones is balanced, daylight-equivalent, fluorescent light.
 
 
 
*Please note that the colours printed on the D-Z grading paper are a guidance only, do not base your colour grading purely on those printed.
 
 
 
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut where the DARK outline is and fold where the GREY lines are
Prefer a plain version? Just fold it the printed way down
TIP: Scoring your paper ensures accuracy when folding, and prevents
the paper from cracking or wrinkling.
